MEDCOM 2017

The   3rd World Conference on Media and Mass Communication 2017 (MEDCOM 2017) was held from the 20th– 22nd   April, 2017 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. MEDOM 2017 was organized by The International Institute of Knowledge Management (TIIKM) with the collaboration of Mustafa Kemal University, Turkey and Gaziantep University, Turkey.

The Conference witnessed the participation around 75 participants representing more than 26 countries across the world. The countries include:  Sri Lanka, Australia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Germany, India, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Philippines, Spain, South Korea, United Kingdom, United States, Taiwan, Pakistan, UAE, Hong Kong, Japan, Bangladesh, Italy.

MEDCOM 2016

The 2nd Annual World Conference on Media and Mass Communication 2016 was held from the 21st – 22nd April, 2016 in Bangkok, Thailand under the theme “Technology: Its Impact on Media and the Way We Communicate.”

The 2nd Annual World Conference on Media and Mass Communication 2016 wa  s the premier forum for the presentation of research and new advances in the fields of theoretical, experimental, and applied Media, Journalism, and Mass Communication. The conference created a platform in bringing together leading researchers, educators, administrators, and scientists in the domain of interest from around the world.

The Conference witnessed a participation of 80 participants from over 20 countries across the world. The presence of academicians, researchers, education experts and professionals whose contributions paved way for solutions in the subject matter.

The Conference was chaired by Prof. Thomas G. Endres from the School of Communication, the University of Northern Colorado (USA) and the keynote forum was represented by the Conference Chair and Assoc. Prof. Dale Edwards, Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, Colorado.

Conference History Report

World Conference on Media and Mass Communication

MEDCOM 2015

The 1st World Conference on Media and Mass Communication 2015 was held from 09th– 10th April, 2015 in Beijing, China under the theme “Media and Mass Communication in the Age of Information.”

The Conference witnessed a participation of 27 participants from over 15 countries across the world. The presence of academicians, researchers, education experts and professionals certainly turned out to be a value adding event to the field of media and mass communication.

There were 25 oral presentations and 02 virtual presentations. Primary objective of this conference was to create a premier forum for the local and international researchers, scholars and academicians to share their research results in the fields of Media and Mass Communication. The objective was believed to be successfully achieved with a good prospect for the future with the message reaching across the globe.

The Conference was chaired by Prof. Gary E.Swanson ,Mildred S. Hansen Endowed Chair in Journalism, the University of Northern Colorado, USA and the Keynote forum was represented by the Conference Chair, Prof. Thomas G. Endres, Director, School of Communication, Professor of Communication Studies, University of Northern Colorado, Greeley, CO, USA and Prof. James A. Keaten, Professor of Communication Studies, University of Northern Colorado, USA .
