The Success Story of the 6th World Conference on Media and Mass Communication (MEDCOM 2020+1)

The 6th World Conference on Media and Mass Communication was held on 17th – 19th June 2021 in Virtual Platform under the theme of “Communication, Digital Media, and Future: New scenarios and Future Changes”.

The conference was organized by the International Institute for Knowledge Management (TIIKM), together with the University of Cagliari, Italy, University Hospital of Cagliari, Italy, University Tor Vergata in Rome, Italy, Faculty of Communication and Media Studies, Universiti Teknologi MARA , Malaysia, Xiamen University, Malaysia as the Hosting Partners and the St. Kliment Ochridsky Sofia University, Bulgaria, Universitas Atma Jaya Yogyakarta, Indonesia, RUDN University, Moscow,Russia, Dhurakij Pundit University, Thailand, University of Zululand,South Africa as the Academic Partners and Fondazione di Sardegna, Italy,News Talk Text, Belgium as Strategic Partners.

With over 100+ participants representing 25+ countries, MEDCOM 2020+1 welcomed Local and International
Industry Experts, Researchers, Practitioners, International educational institutions, Organizations and Civil society to this great knowledge sharing platform. The Conference was chaired by Prof. Andrea Volterrani, Prof. Elisabetta Gola, Dr. Fabrizio Meloni and Prof. Chris Fenner.

The conference represented an important opportunity for academics, structured and independent researchers, artists and professionals who revolve around the world of communication and media. Communication professionals, scholars, researchers are involved. It was a very important event for all professionals in the sector: from public administration to publishing, to corporate communication, to social networks.
